Steve Johnson

I have been working at Stoddard Enterprises in Pine Island since 1993. It only took me about 20 years to find out that I enjoyed computer work more than anything else I had tried. Trudy works at Farmers State Bank in Dennison. I have partially retired and Trudy is looking to retire in about 1 ½ years. Our oldest son, Scot, moved to Arizona in 1997 for 3 years to teach elementary school. While there he met his wife, Jennifer, and they moved back to Mankato 2000. Scot taught 5th grade. He is now as Assistant Principal in one of Mankato’s elementary schools. Our youngest son, Matt, is married to Holly and they have 4 year old identical twins, Kayla and Ruby. My Mother was extremely humbled and honored when she heard they were naming one of the girls after her. We enjoy babysitting whenever we can. Matt works for United Health and they live in Eden Prairie. My sister, Karen, passed away from colon cancer complications 3 years ago. She was married to Gene Berg. She would always say this to me so I’m sure she would want me to say; "Make sure you get tested. Don’t put it off." Steve Johnson
