After H.S. I have lived in Mankato, Rochester, Duluth and 19 years Tomah-LaCrosse, WI. About 12 years ago my husband, Jim, an RN, of 36 years and I moved back to Wanamingo area to live with my Dad after mom passed away. I have a degree in Counseling and Administration from UM-Duluth working as a counselor in MN and WI with Addiction, Mental Health and Human Services for 35 years. I work at Mayo Clinic Psychiatry in Addictions. Jim retired last year as Director of Nursing and then began home care and hospice for my Dad, who passed away last December. My Dad taught me Norwegian Ancathus Wood Carving and I do Rosemaling Norwegian Folk Art. I continue doing music mostly at church or in community. I was music major in college initially.
I am a breast cancer survivor for 23 years and am the Friend of Bill W. fellowship for 37 years. Our son Pat is 32 years old and lives in LaCrosse, WI. My daughter Carriann and her husband, with three children live in Savage, MN. We sold our old cabin in WI so now have a camper and boat near Wabasha. We have enjoyed going to the Boundary Waters several times, on cruises to Carribean and Alaska, and traveling by exchanging our time share around the country. My two brothers died, Steve in a truck accident @ 25 y.o, Phil of a heart attack @42 y.o. so we currently live on Dad's farm which is beautiful with much sentiment. Jim is an avid hunter and I enjoy reaquainting with friends and family in my home area. Jim's family lives in LaCrosse area so we frequently visit there. Looking forward to the H.S. reunion.
